Our comprehensive telehealth rash service supports people across Australia.

The service includes :

  • Pre-consult with our experienced nurse

  • thorough review of your history

  • Initial assessment with our specialist Dermatologists who has a specialist interest in rash or skin conditions

  • Development of a management plan

  • Monitoring of your concern by our dedicated clinical assistant

  • Scripts sent electronically

  • Ongoing direct contact and support from our clinical team

  • Communication with your referring doctor if available

You will receive a comprehensive questionnaire to complete prior to your appointment. Our clinical team will contact you to review your questionnaire and discuss further information if required.

What to expect:

Firstly a professional service with a high priority of patient confidentiality and respect. For complex patients or those requiring services only a dermatologist can provide we offer a telehealth video consultation service.

You will receive an email link to book your pre-consult appointment with our nurse where we will discuss the process, your specific needs and  the next steps. We will liaise with you to ensure all of your medical history and concerns are documented and we have appropriate images ready for your appointment with the Dermatologist. 

Your appointment with the Dermatology will be via Telehealth. You will receive a link the morning of your appointment. The Dermatologist will have your medical history, concerns and images ready to discuss with you. Please ensure you are ready 15-20minutes before your Telehealth appointment.

To avoid a cancellation fee, if you’re not able to make your appointment time, please contact us within 24 hours of your booked appointment. 

Depending on your treatment plan, the Dermatologist may suggest a follow up Telehealth appointment to ensure you are managing well and improving. 

Please note only your initial appointment with the Dermatologist is included in this first payment and any additional appointments are billed separately at a rate of $190.00 per appointment, rebates are available with a valid referral. 

With a valid referral, you may be eligible for a medicare rebate of up to $42.00 for any future Telehealth appointments requested by the Dermatologist. 

Referrals

A referral is not required, however, it is encouraged. Patients with a current referral will receive a Medicare rebate for this service, and any follow-up, tele-health appointments.
